A Full-Cycle Bookkeeper is able to set up your business’ general ledger and chart of accounts, track and keep current all financial transactions for your business, and work with your accountant to provide the necessary information for tax purposes.

Initial setup of the business books, data entry for all financial transactions, reporting on any remittances due to the government (payroll, HST, taxes, etc), reconciling banking and credit card transactions with the information in your records, and working with your accountant to provide end of fiscal year documents for tax purposes.

Full-cycle accounting can definitely include payroll, however, most bookkeepers will have an additional charge for this service, typically dependent on the number of employees.
